Corporate Director GPO Implementation
Community Hospital Corporation - Plano, TX

High profile and professional position sets the stage for our new member partnerships by assuring a successful on-boarding experience to our HealthTrust GPO.  The Director of GPO Implementation, reporting to the SVP CHC Supply Trust, will own and direct all aspects of assigned implementations, coordinating with key departments and resources, to assure the accurate and timely completion of the established implementation work plan.  Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional business relationships, preparing for and participating in regular meetings, and assuring all business partners (members and suppliers), have an outstanding experience with CHC Supply Trust such that they would recommend and promote our services to others.  
Skills and Knowledge 
  • Knowledge of healthcare purchasing, inventory management systems, procurement, supplies distribution/operations and contracting, capital equipment and automated systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical/surgical/pharmaceutical products and supplies
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-Including ability to present effectively at all levels of the organization including C-Suite.
  • Executive presence- confidence, poise under pressure, decisiveness- conveying an image that is consistent with the organizations vision and values.
  • Passion for results- able to drive high standards for self; tenaciously working to meet or exceed challenging goals.
  • Advanced analytic skills- Excel. Software skills with data warehouse and/or Micro Strategies highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects, within agreed timelines and measurements.
  • Demonstrated agility/ability to adapt to changing work demands.
  • Possesses interpersonal skills to work in a high profile and fast paced team environment, including effective management of employees. 
Experience
  • 3- 7 years Healthcare industry experience preferred- supply chain and/or clinical.
  • 2- 5 years supervisory experience- coaching, training, directing and evaluating performance.
  • Project management experience preferred 
Education 
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business or health care administration or other related field required. 
Major Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a unit work environment that reflects performance improvement and customer service program consistent with the Corporation's Mission Statement
  • Drives the successful completion of CHC Supply Trust Implementations Work Plan per assigned new member implementations
  • Coordinates all work streams and participants, including med/surg, pharmacy, food, and others to assure all milestones are achieved per plan
  • Leads kick off meetings, makes presentations, and attends sales presentations as assigned
  • Provides on site, hands on management of implementations
  • Oversees due-diligence process and data flow related to implementation
  • Designs, builds and monitors strategic plans and reports for the purpose of on-boarding the member, documenting savings, reporting savings and enhancing compliance
  • Recommends updates to the Implementations Work Plan that improve the team and members' experience
  • Incorporates efficiencies that improve speed and accuracy of medical/surgical/pharmaceutical supply conversions
  • Communicates regularly to the SVP, CHC Supply Trust, informing and troubleshooting obstacles as they arise.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with all levels of Company management to serve as technical resource when needed
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost conscious manner, complying with all CHC's policies, procedures and regulations 
General Duties 
  • Successful onboarding of new members to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction such that our new members will endorse and recommend CHC Supply Trust
  • Exhibits appropriate quality service behaviors in meeting and/or exceeding the needs of departmental customers, co-workers and others they encounter as representative of CHC
  • Upholds and supports the company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives
